What is PT-141?

PT-141 is a melanocortin based peptide that can address the problem of sexual dysfunction. For men who experience erectile dysfunction (ED) or impotence, and women with hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD). It can be an effective alternative to Viagra or Cialis. It also has the additional benefit of boosting energy and producing a natural tan.

PT-141 is developed from the Melanotan II peptide, which was initially tested as a sunless tanning agent, but it also was found to cause sexual arousal and spontaneous erections. Melanotan II was created to stimulate melanogenesis, the process that is responsible for skin tanning.
